Olive "Ruth" Ehrenfried Fergione
She was the beloved wife to the late Anthony L. Fergione, former Chief of Police, Northampton Township. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert and Anna Frances Neville Ehrenfried.
Ruth as she was known spent her childhood in Newportville and was a graduate of Delhass High School. She was a resident of Holland for 43 years. A retired office manager, Ruth gave many years volunteering her time to the Churchville Nature Center and at Blood drives for the American Red Cross.
Ruth was a very caring, nurturing and loving person who was generous with all who knew her. She truly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her children and their spouses; Anthony M. Fergione and his wife Linda of Bensalem, Raymond D. Fergione and his wife Lorraine of Holland, Maryanna Fasy and her husband Michael of Little Egg Harbor, NJ, Ruth Ann Roche and her husband Michael of Warrington, her 3 brothers and their spouses; Gilbert Ehrenfried and his wife Beatrice , James Ehrenfried and his wife Pam, David Ehrenfried and his wife Gail, 10 dear grandchildren: Morgan Fergione Javins (Sean), Allyson Fergione, Linda Fergione, Samantha and Raymond Fergione, Jennifer Fasy ( Tom Rodriguez), Brian Fasy, Bailey, Fallon and Paige Roche, and one great grandson Ezekiel, and her loving companion Michael Polito.
Relatives and friends are invited celebrate her life on Friday evening January 9, 2009 from 6:00PM until her Funeral Service at 8:00PM at the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd. (at Holland Rd.) Richboro. And to her Graveside Service Saturday January 10, 2009 at 11:00AM at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Super Highway Langhorne PA.
