Margaret Jameson Arrison


Margaret Jameson Arrison died January 19, 2009 at her Wrightstown home at the age of 77. Born in Bethlehem, PA, “Molly” was a graduate of Moravian Preparatory School and Centenary College. She fell deeply in love at 16, married at 19, and for almost 60 years was the devoted wife of Frank Christian Arrison who survives her. Their mutual love and affection was evident every day. Also an exemplary mother and grandmother with strong family values, she is survived by her son Chip and his wife Betsy, daughter Peggy White and her husband Glenn, and four married grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Family and friends will fondly remember her many words of advice and heartfelt opinions.

Her passions included tennis, skiing, traveling, antiquing, studying French, music, art, entertaining friends, and writing. She is the author of Getting My Goat: Life on a Bucks County Farm which recalls her experiences as Frank and she lovingly restored an historic farmhouse and raised a barnyard of assorted animals, especially her beloved goats.

A Memorial Service will be held at Wrightstown Friends Meeting on Thursday, January 29 at 11:00AM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Wrightstown Friends Meeting, Route 413, Wrightstown, PA 18940. Interment will be private.
