Born in Philadelphia PA, Mr. Vassalluzzo was a resident of Langhorne for only a short period of time. Frank’s professional career was spent with the Budd Company and Philadelphia Gear Company as a machinist for over 35 years. Frank was a communicant of Assumption BVM Church in Feasterville for 30 years before going to the Church of St. Andrew in Newtown. Frank enjoyed working in his garden or his woodworking shop where he made various pieces of memorabilia, but he especially loved to read about History and Archeology. He will be deeply missed by his loving family and his friends and all who had the opportunity to know him.
Son of the late Angelo and Gaetana Monzo Vassalluzzo, he was predeceased by his sisters Clara, Emma and Edith and his beloved wife Chiarina “Rina” Zammarrelli Vassalluzzo. Frank is survived by his devoted sons, Italo A. “Vass” and his wife Mary Lou Vassalluzzo of Ardsley, Dr. Julio E. Vassalluzzo husband of the late Rosemarie of Langhorne, one sister Helen Signorelli of Feasterville. He is also survived by his 5 dear grandchildren Dr. Christopher J. Vassalluzzo (Dr. Diane Marrone) Barbara V. Carpentier (William), Elizabeth V. Tentilucci (David), Kathleen and Matthew Vassalluzzo and 7 great grandchildren Gianna, Gabriella and Jonathon Vassalluzzo, Abigail and Emily Carpentier and Nicholas and Roman Tentilucci and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Saturday January 7, 2006 at the Church of St. Andrew 81 Swamp Rd. Newtown from 9:30am until his Funeral Mass 11:00am. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery Langhorne.
