Born in Philadelphia, Mrs. Pinkerton was a resident of Chalfont for the past 3 years; she was a former resident of the Burholme Section of Philadelphia. Catherine was a communicant of St. Jude's Church, Chalfont. She was an active member of the Senior Citizens of St. Joseph's Church in Warrington and presently the Vice President and formerly President of the Catholic Kolping Society. She is a life member of the German American Police Association and a member of the Donauschwaben of Philadelphia.
Daughter of the late Michael J. and Margaret Rice Maguire and beloved wife of the late William Pinkerton. She is survived by her children and their spouses William Pinkerton of Philadelphia, John and Lynn Pinkerton of Warminster, Catherine Pinkerton of Philadelphia, Charles J. and Theresa Pinkerton of Langhorne, Anne Marie and Walter Suttmann of Chalfont, Robert Pinkerton and Allan Pinkerton both of Philadelphia, 1 brother William Maguire of Haverford, PA and 3 sisters Margaret Cunniffe of Hamilton Square, NJ, Rose Marie Fox of Pottstown and Helen Carr of Warminster. She is also survived by 6 dear grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral, Friday, March 15, 2002 at 8:30 AM from the Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home, 800 Newtown-Richboro Rd.,(at Holland Road), Richboro and to her Funeral Mass 10:00 AM at St. Bede the Venerable Church, Holland. Interment Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne. Friends may call Thursday evening from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
